Coal makes a welcome return to our programme after an absence of a number of years - and what a return.
Iain Chalmers will regail us with memories of his days in the mining industry and his obsession with saving and preserving the industry's heritage.
Iain has also emerged as a designer of colliery plates and badges which he will also cover in his talk. Iain has just published his first book on his memories from his mining days and copies will be available on the night. An excellent raconteur it is sure to be an interesting night.
As always, teas, coffee and themed home baking will be on offer. Add to that the raffle with its prizes touching each end of the sublime to the ridiculous spectrum - what more could you ask for?
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
