Saturday 5 August, 7-11pm
Lughnasadh, pronounced Loo-nah-sah, is an ancient celebration of the first day of harvest and one of the Celtic fire festivals. Lughnasadh at Forgan Arts Centre will be an evening, outdoor event in our grounds featuring live music and a dance performance which will ignite a night of celebration, dancing, and fire.
Set in the glorious gardens of Forgan Arts Centre, Lughnasadh: Hungry Souls is a call from the heart from an especially created ensemble of musicians and dancers to an audience of hungry souls. Come and join a celebration of the change of season curated by our artist in residence, choreographer Fleur Darkin.
This event is for anyone of any age. All tickets are ‘pay what you can’ starting at £0. All ticket income contributes to the running costs of Forgan Arts Centre. There will be a bar serving wine, beer, and soft drinks. Come dressed for all weathers!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
