Scotland ReDistilled: The Long Haul
A generational study of fishing in the East Neuk.
An in-conversation event with Fish, Scottish solo artist and general lover of all things food. Fish will meet three generations of Pittenweem fishermen who will regale us with stories of working along this mercurial coastline.
The talk will be followed by live music, drinks, and fresh seafood. There's also the chance to view a photography exhibition, by Liam Dickson, featuring local fishermen and chronicling life at sea onboard a modern-day fishing vessel.
About Scotland ReDistilled:
This event is part of ‘Scotland ReDistilled: The Long Haul’, a series of exhibitions and events about fishing taking place across the East Neuk during Aug/Sep ‘23, including exhibitions at Pittenweem Arts Festival (5-12 Aug) and the Anstruther Fisheries Museum (4 Aug – 17 Sept) and a series of micro exhibitions at local restaurants, bars and cafes.
