Flute and classical guitar duo JKL's The International Poet presents a selection of Robert Burns’ most celebrated songs reimagined by modern composers at Viewfield Baptist Church, Dunfermline.

Ae Fond Kiss, Ye Banks and Braes o’ Bonnie Doon, John Anderson My Jo and My
Love Is Like a Red, Red Rose all feature in the concert. And music lovers are
promised Auld Lang Syne as they’ve never heard it before!
Scottish flautist Kerry Lynch and Italian classical guitarist Jacopo Lazzaretti have performed The International Poet at many Scottish venues over the past couple of years, to great acclaim. The Edinburgh Music Review described it as ‘A stimulating and thought-provoking take on the music found by Robert Burns’, and JKL DUO’s debut recording last year was nominated for the Scottish Album of the Year Award.
