About The Summer of Colour / Private View at Ormus Gallery

It’s come time for our Summer exhibition and this one is going to be a fun one.

This year we’re focusing on colour and joy and we have a great bunch of eclectic artists to show you. We hope you can join us for our opening evening on the 10th of May for some upbeat summer music, delicious drinks, and some tasty nibbles and of course a chance to see the new collection before anyone else. We will be welcoming people in from 5pm until around 8pm to look at the exhibition and meet some of the artists (not all the artists are able to be there as some live very far away). Everyone is welcome but might be best to leave kids/dogs at home as these events tend to get pretty busy.

Location: Ormus, 33 High Street, Aberdour, KY3 0SH

We can’t wait to see you but if you’re not able to make it, don’t worry, we have a full schedule of events going on this summer including workshops, pop-up exhibitions and lots more and all of the work that doesn’t sell will be available online after the event.

This Summer at Ormus we have a joyful cohort of artists joining us including Ellietype (Quilts and Printmaking), Pascale Wilson (Ceramics), Lisa Toppin (Embroidery), Garnet McCulloch (Ceramics), Susy Kirk (Textiles), Esme MacIntyre (Printmaking), Fun Makes Good (Textile/Upholstery), Olive Can Fly (Glass/Floristry), alongside long-time favourites Helen Kemp, Lindsay Grime, Claremont Ceramics, Fettler Design and many more.
