Treat your Self and join Ingrid on the 28th of July for a special monthly Yin Yoga Deep Dive class at the Jyoti Centre for Wellbeing and Yoga in Kelty (12 Main Street Kelty KY4 0AA).
Yin Yoga Deep Dive consists of holding poses for a longer period of time, anywhere 2 minutes to 10 minutes. This strengthens our deep and non stretchy tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and bones, whilst bringing awareness to our inner wellbeing and divine light. Ingrid weaves meditation, breathing, relaxation, philosophy, and mantra throughout the class creating a holistic journey for the body, mind, and spirit.
This class is suitable for anyone above 18, from beginner to advanced. Yin yoga is not suitable however, for anyone who suffers from major physical ailments. In that case a restorative class might be a better choice. If in doubt, please check with a medical professional if it is appropriate for you to practise yin yoga. Yoga is ideally practised on a (fairly) empty stomach. Please make sure you left enough time between meals and yoga - ideally 3 hours. A light snack such as a piece of fruit or a nutbar is absolutely fine at least 1 hour before practising.
Please bring your own yoga mat, a blanket, water, and make sure you wear enough layers to stay warm as the body cools down when holding poses. Bolsters, straps, and blocks are available in the centre but if you have your own please feel free to bring them. Doors open at 13.10.
To book your spot please visit www.petalsandaum.com/offerings/yin-yoga-deep-dive-jyoti-centre-kelty and click the register button. If you prefer to pay through bank transfer please contact us to arrange. We aim to be as flexible as possible.
