Michael Crumplin is a retired consultant surgeon who has created a unique surgical museum at the farm which served as the principal dressing station at Waterloo.

He is the author of Waterloo After the Glory: Hospital Sketches and Reports on the Wounded After the Battle and is one of the leading experts in his field with unparalleled knowledge of the medical issues of this campaign.
