Join us as we celebrate the Bard on his birthday here at the University of St Andrews on Saturday 25 January 2025.
The evening will begin at 6pm with a welcome drink in the grandeur of Lower College Hall followed by a 4 course themed dinner incorporating the best of local and Scottish produce.
A taste of Scotland, your menu will include:
Starter
Soup with rustic roll and butter
Haggis Course
Haggis, neeps and tatties with whisky sauce
Vegetarian haggis, neeps and tatties with whisky sauce
Main Course
Beef fillet, dauphinoise potatoes, sauteed greens and horseradish jus
Carrot Wellington, dauphinoise potatoes, sauteed greens and spiced marmalade
Dessert
Cranachan cheesecake
Freshly brewed coffee, tea and tablet supplied by Fisher and Donaldson
Also included in the 4 course package, wines to be served with dinner (half bottle per person) and a dram of whisky supplied by Luvians Bottle Shops
Entertainment during the dinner will include a piper, address to the haggis, and Burns poetry.
When dinner has concluded you will be piped to Younger Hall to enjoy an evening of traditional dancing with the Red Bothy Ceilidh Band until late (ticket includes admission to the ceilidh). A pay as you go bar will be available, please note this is a cashless bar with card payment only.
Package price: £69.50 per person
Bookings will be for tables of 10, smaller parties will be allocated to tables with other guests.
