In this workshop, you will create a set of three textured skinny rings that can be stacked together or worn separately.
Beginning with a demonstration, you will be shown how to make, clean and texture a silver ring. Talking through the instructions and various information and tips regarding the materials you are working with, and introducing a range of tools and a handheld blowtorch which you will go on to use yourself!
We will start by sizing your chosen fingers, calculating and measuring the wire needed to create it. We will then saw and shape the rings ready to solder. Once soldered we will clean the rings and form them into a true ring shape, and add your chosen hammered texture.
Once fully formed and textured, we will scrub and polish the rings, ready to wear home that evening.
The perfect class for an individual or a group of friends to come and learn, socialise and most importantly, to make some jewellery to take home!
All materials, including silver will be included.
The workshop will run for around 2.5 hours but it can vary.
*Our classes will increase in price in February 2025 and this may not be reflected here. Current prices available on studio website.
Please note, that this class will need 4 people to run. If the class is under-subscribed, the studio reserves the right to reschedule. You will be notified at least 4 days before the class if the class cannot run, and will have the option to be refunded in this instance.
Private parties:
At the moment, if you have a group of 4+ people we can offer you a private workshop at no extra cost per person on a date that suits you, where available. Email hello@eastnook.com to discuss the private options
