After leaving the band, JJ secured himself a solo deal with the help of golfing star Ian Woosnam and is now firmly established as a solo artist with 5 studio albums under his belt and now his 20 plus years work as solo artist will be celebrated this March with the release of his compilation album ‘The Evolution of JJ Gilmour’ produced by Glasgow label Last night from Glasgow, JJ has also enjoyed success with his hit musical Dancing Shoes, based on the life of footballer George Best.
