The Dog Lover Show 2022 is set to be our biggest yet and after a lengthy wait we are pleased to announce Des Clarke will host this year’s Dog Lover Show.
The Dog Lover Show Glasgow 2022 will have an action-packed main stage, sponsored by Seresto Flea & Tick collar. Visitors can watch some of the UK’s most talented dogs on the main stage including, flyball, gun dogs and even duck herding. Meet Scotland’s favourite Canine stars of Instagram at the Insta Dogs Feature. Visit Vets, Training, Grooming and children’s features, all of which are fun, educational and informative and all free to visit. You can meet some of our previous exhibitors as well as new. There will be something for everyone, so start saving now!
Animals & You and Animal Planet partnering the children’s zone makes it a special day out for the young dog lovers. The first 2000 child visitors at each venue can receive free copies and join in competitions and games at the kid’s zone. The Dog Lover Show offers a fabulous weekend out for all ages.
Furthermore, we are thrilled to have The Herald and Evening Times returning as media partners for 2022 in Glasgow. We have lots of competitions planned exclusively for readers of Glasgow’s top selling newspapers.
The Dog Lover Show supports various pet charities and in 2022 we will be supporting the Dogs Trust, The Guide Dogs, Edinburgh Cat and Dog Home, Mrs Murrays Cat & Dog home, The Scottish Greyhound Sanctuary and more pet charities at each venue. Visitors can get involved by helping these wonderful dog charities at the show or by helping rescue or adopt a dog from Scotland’s favourite centres. You can learn more about different breeds and meet 100’s of different dogs of all shapes and sizes.
The Dog Lover Show Glasgow 2022 is set to attract a record number of exhibitors from all over the UK selling everything imaginable for your dog! You could say it will be a dog lover heaven.
As we resume to a new form of normal, the health and safety of all of our visitors is paramount. Visitors must adhere to the current government guidelines while visiting, as all the relevent safety measures will be in place.
Event Organiser Robin Chalmers said: "the success of our previous shows was completely overwhelming and a wonderful platform to make our vision for a festival for the love of dogs a reality. We are delighted with the growing exhibitor list for both shows and we know new and returning visitors will enjoy a fabulous day out. We understand there is still a little apprehension around events and large gatherings however keeping everyone safe is our absolute priority. We are following all the relevant guidelines and look forward to returning to a new form of normal. We hope to see you all there."
