Ten pin bowling fans can relax when it comes to ordering their Christmas lunch centrepiece this year, after Hollywood Bowl announced it is offering guests the chance to win a turkey if they bowl a turkey.

To bag a plucky prize for the big day, all customers will need to do is bowl three strikes in a row which in ten pin bowling terms is known as a turkey.

Those who visit their local Hollywood Bowl centre in Scotland between 1st and 7th December will have to strike it lucky and bowl a turkey in a single game. In return, they will win a £50 supermarket voucher to spend on their Christmas turkey.

Liz Penney, Head of Marketing at Hollywood Bowl, said: “Christmas is all about having fun and to celebrate the season, we’re very excited to give our guests the chance to win a turkey for a turkey.

“There are always big celebrations in our centres when we see a player bowl a turkey as it’s no mean feat. So, to congratulate their turkey achievement, what better prize than having their actual centrepiece sorted for Christmas lunch this year!”

To claim their prize the player will need to take a photo of their scoreboard and share it on social media, tagging Hollywood Bowl and using the hash-tag #Turkeyforaturkey.

The entry will be verified by Hollywood Bowl and the lucky bowler will be awarded their turkey voucher.

Hollywood Bowl centres across Scotland where Turkey for a Turkey competition is rolled out this Christmas are:
• Dunfermline
• Glasgow (Springfield Quay)
• Glasgow (Coatbridge)
• Stirling

Bookings are open for the Christmas period, as well as Christmas parties, at:
