Gilbert & Sullivan’s MIKADO is perhaps the most popular of the light operas with songs such as ‘A wandering Minstrel I’, ‘The Sun whose Rays are all Ablaze’, Three Little Maids’, ‘Willow Tit Willow’ and many others that have been sung and whistled all over the world for more than an hundred years.
The Mikado had its first run at the Savoy Theatre in 1885, and now, nearly 139 years later, we hope to continue delighting audiences in our newly refurbished Adam Smith Theatre.
With a cast of 42 on stage, it will be a fun evening with fabulous singing, and we hope you are free to join us at one of our performances.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
