Bruce Keith makes a welcome return to Markinch to discuss his latest publication - 'Scotland Beneath the Surface'. This is Bruce's third visit and we all know what to expect - a well researched, well presented talk enhanced by splendid photographs.
This book looks at what is beneath our feet - from the natural to the man-made. Bruce looks at caves- sewers- communication cables - mines and all structures in-between. Some will be know to the audience - some a little known and many unknown. Bruce, as always, will be adding amazing facts and statistic throughout his talk.
Teas, coffee and themed home baking will be available and as always the notorious raffle will be in evidence. The prizes will of course touch each side of the sublime to the ridiculous spectrum.
Copies of Bruce's book will be available at a discounted price.
All very welcome.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
